About Me

Whether you are my family and feel obliged to read this blog or are just some random person who stumbled upon my ramblings, you may be wondering who in the world this crazy girl is who can't seem content to stay put for long.

I am a 20-something year old girl (I refuse to think I am old enough to have to go by the title of woman yet!) and a traveler, teacher, and lover of all things crafty. I have embarked on many new, and sometimes slightly crazy, adventures in my short life, but this current one may take the cake....for now! I graduated from the Ashland University (Ashland, Ohio) with an early childhood education degree and decided to stick around Ashland and teach first grade for a couple years after college. During college I made one of the best decisions of my life and applied and got accepted to the Semester at Sea program and was able to spend a summer sailing, traveling, taking classes, and exploring the Mediterranean Sea area. While most people would think this voyage was amazing (don't get me wrong it was!) it also had some negative consequences for me....it only deepened my desire to travel more!

I have recently made the decision to feed into these travel cravings and have applied and been accepted to teach English in Taiwan for a school year. I am not sure what this year may bring my way or what I might learn along the way, but you are more than welcome to join me for my crazy adventure!
